Reina Socks Finished
I finished the Reina socks this week. I really loved knitting these. The Mama Llama yarn was super nice to work with. It is very soft and slides on the needle very well. I was also able to use my brand new sock blockers from the Loopy Ewe.
This pattern was fun to make. It was a bit challenging with keeping track of what row you were on in the 10 row repeat, but a row counter turned out to be my best friend. Lisa Dykstra did a pretty good job here making it slightly challenging with the new technique (to me anyway) of wrapping the yarn around two slipped stitches. Plus it looks pretty cool as brackets for the pattern repeat.
I’m so glad to have gotten these done. I really didn’t want to get behind with my yarn clubs this year and felt like I had gotten off to a bad start. Now I can get moving on my Froggin socks and hopefully have them finished before the next shipment of the Seven Deadly S(p)ins club. I hope to have a good stash of hand knit socks before I need to wear socks again.

Awesome socks.
