Gluttony Progress
I have been busy at work on the first of my gluttony socks from the Seven Deadly Spins Club. I had a grand plan of getting some kntting done at Starbucks today after my daughter got out of school. I packed a bag full of books, bought her a juice and a donut, and we were nicely settled into the comfy chairs. Very clever. I was just into my second round of knitting when my daughter needed to use the potty. So packed everything up except the drinks in order to save our spot and off to the bathroom we go. She went and we settled in once again. And then she pooped. Sigh. The joys of potty learning.
So we packed up, cleaned up and came home. We are getting to enjoy the beautiful weather outside though. Here is a little picture of how far I have gotten:
I am really enjoying knitting these. Bit of a pain with the color changes and the strands of yarn you have to keep moving out of the way. The effect of the graduated color change is completely worth it though.
