Round 2: Seven Deadly S(p)ins Project

Published by thiselfknits at 7:46 pm under WIPs

seven deadly spins spoilerComing off the high of finishing the Gluttony Socks, I moved right on to my next project. Not everyone has received the kit yet, so the details are hidden in the Continue Reading link below.

I was so happy to get this kit. Not only is the pima cotton yarn yummy soft, the project is a simple and quick one. The socks took a really long time and it is nice to have instant gratification projects. I wound the yarn over the weekend and cast on today. My biggest issue with the pattern is that it is knit flat. Which, duh, it is a washcloth. I mostly knit in the round though, so it always takes a little bit of reprogramming for my brain and hands to handle the switch.

You’ll notice from the picture that I won’t give up my circ’s to knit flat though :) And I am already trying to figure out how to knit the soap sack in the round so I don’t have to seam.
