Birthday Yarn
I received the best package in the mail today. Angelina of ZenString was nice enough to stock yarn on my birthday last week. I received some birthday money from my parents and mother-in-law and well it was all just perfect timing. Here is the little stash that I received:
I got her very first stocking of Bambewe worsted in Strawberry Fields. I love this colorway and have been wanting some for such a long time. I hope to make Gwen a Girlfriend’s Swing Coat Sweater from it. I also received some Roots in Verde Chunky. I’m thinking of using it for a hat, but I have no intended recipient. My favorite in the stash is Mahalo on Lotus Toes Sport. Definitely a pair of socks in this skeins future. It is just gorgeous in real life. Even my husband, who is not a lover of variegated yarn, likes this one. I also have the Laurie Berkner song of the same name permanently stuck in my head.
