Woolgirl April 2008 Package
I received the first shipment to the Woolgirl 2008 Sock Club today. This is my first time in any sock club. I knew from the first shipment of the Seven Deadly Spins Club and raves on Ravelry that it would be good though. I was definitely not disappointed. Jen takes such great care in packaging and shipping her orders.

The club this month was inspired by a Georgia O’Keefe painting of petunias. Here is a picture:

It is so beautiful. And the yarn is soft and yummy! It is a sport weight yarn. The pattern is written for two circulars. I prefer using DPN’s so hopefully it is no big deal to modify. Oh and it has cables, so I guess I finally have to go there. It came with some notecards, a stitch marker, a pen, and a clear zip back to hold everything in. The bag will certainly come in handy.
Here is a close up of the yarn:

I can’t wait to finish my Gluttony Socks so that I can get started on these.
I tried to post on the Woolgirl Sock Club site, but it is not recognizing my password tonight. You will be fine with the DPNs… that is what I knit on too and two circs or magic loop instructions have not presented a problem. I’m socksetal on Ravelry too if you have any questions when you are done with your Gluttony Socks.
Okay great! Thank you so much. I will definitely find you on Ravelry if I have any questions
YAY! Thanks for posting a spoiler! I love spoilers! I have been out of town and my mail on hold. I won’t be able to pick up my goodies until Wednesday, so I am thrilled to get a sneak preview!
You are very welcome Leslie. I understand how hard it is to wait. You will love getting it in person, it is so hard to do the package justice in a picture.
